Itinerary

Friday: The Clock Out, Check In & Unwind Day.

1:00pm-2:00pm: Afternoon arrival

2:30pm-3:30pm: Mindful Yoga Walk from our accommodation. We practice mindfulness while walking. The aim is to reconnect with our bodies and quiet our over active minds. The repetitive rhythm of linking our breath with our stride, brings us to a state of calm. By focusing on being present in the moment, we remove stressful thought. Negativity softly fades away, while we reap the benefits of gentle exercise, sunlight and fresh air.

4:00pm-5:00pm: Tea, coffee and cake

5:00pm-6:00pm: Yoga

7:30pm-10:00pm: Dinner

Saturday: The Achievement Day.

Get your mind and body stimulated with England’s most exciting walk. It'll leave you feeling on top of the world and bring a mindset that you're ready to tackle anything!

7:30am-8:30am: Yoga

8:30am-9:15am: Breakfast

10:00am-4:00pm: Helvellyn (Britain’s favourite walk). One of the most beautiful places in England; from picturesque lakes to craggy fells, the Lake District is full of epic walks. None is more impressive than Helvellyn, the third highest leak in the Lake District.

Walkers have the option of taking the straight forward "Donkey Track" to the top, which is a steep path in places, making it a challenging ascent, but without any worry of exposure to heights or steep drops.

Alternatively choose the dramatic narrow ridge of Striding Edge, which was voted Britain’s favourite walk in 2017. The classic route from the village of Glenridding, climbs steeply over Birkhouse Moor, with amazing views down into the Ullswater valley. Then we tackle the Striding Edge Grade 1 scramble all the way to Helvellyn’s wide summit plateau.

After enjoying one of the best views across the entire Lake District National Park, we descend the way we have come or via Swirral Edge, another steep rocky scramble, before the possibility of taking in the bonus Wainwright of Catstye Cam and heading back down the valley.
